b. Audio name : Grit: The power of passion and perseverance | Angela Lee Duckworth
c. Level : Intermediate/medium.
d. Summary
Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. Grit is sticking with your future. Day in, day out, not just for a week or a month but for years, and working really hard to make that future a reality. In fact, based on the data, grit is usually unrelated or even inversely related to measures of talent. The best idea about building grit in kids is the growth mindset. It is the belief that the ability to learn is not fixed, it can change with your effort.

f. Activities
I listen and watch a video called "Grit: The power of passion and perseverance". At first, I watched it without subtitles, and then I watched it again with subtitles to help me understand it better.
g. Things I learn from this topic and the benefit
I learn that what we need in education is a much better understanding of students and learning from a motivational perspective, and from a psychological perspective. We need to take our best ideas, our strongest intuitions and we need to test them. We need to measure whether we've been successful, and we have to be willing to fail to start over again with lessons learned.
